“Poet’s Cause” is a lyrical tribute to brilliant color and lively shape. Renowned artist Don Li-Leger takes an improvisational approach, combining images with large stretches of rolled-on color. For a bold effect, pair with “Antiquities.”
For three decades, acclaimed Canadian artist Don Li-Leger has woven ethereal tales of color, light and texture in a trademark style known as “Asian Fusion.” Influenced by Asian art and Eastern philosophy, Li-Leger richly layers his work with calligraphy, geometric elements and natural forms. Educated in plant ecology, Li-Leger painted British Columbia’s birds and animals until trips to the Orient and North American wildlife sanctuaries reshaped his artistic focus. Inspired by the flowers in his own garden, Li-Leger depicts the profound connection between nature and art.
This fine art print is produced on Forest Stewardship Council certified paper, using post-consumer and sustainably sourced paper, and soy-based inks.
